This program is a proof-of-concept created for the Remix community as quickly as possible. This project was cancelled on September 13, 2023 due to concerns over Unity's rapidly changing business model and will be removed from digital stores on December 31, 2023. When the removal occurs, the source code will be posted on GitHub and linked here.

Make RTX Remix Replacements with a GUI

PBROven is a tool that allows RTX Remix creators to modify their projects from the comfort of a GUI. PBROven places itself into the Remix workflow by reading the captures directory that Remix creates. Any captured textures will appear in your project, complete with PBR previews so that you can see the output of your mod as you make changes.

This tool was designed for basic ESRGAN mods, but is being reworked to support more complicated changes and manual replacements in-editor. Direct integration of ChaiNNer will also be integrated, allowing users to AI-upscale assets and create normals in a single click.

Project Status

PBROven 0.20 is currently in development and will allow for creators to AI upscale or create normal maps for textures directly in-app. This update will also coincide with a release of the source code on GitHub. It's taking a little longer than expected to catch the last few bugs, but I'll try to have it out before Summer ends!

More Information

This tool was made for personal use, and has been made available to assist Remix creators while waiting for the official toolkit which will not release until late 2023. It was the first tool within its community to offer a GUI instead of a command-line interface.
