APPLICANT is a first-person investigation game inspired by ARGs.  Tasked with a simple choice shrouded in suspicious actions and motives, dig deeper into the lives of your peers and decipher their real intentions in the decision that lies ahead.

Unfortunately this game didn't really make the cut.  :(  It is still being released as an Art Test in its current state.  I would like to thank Phildor for assisting development as well as GameDevTV for the opportunity to work on this jam.  We shot for the moon, but it turned out to be a bit far. :P

While the game did tie into All That Glitters story-wise, axing the dialogue system means that context is more or less missing in action.  If you're curious, the source code includes both an incomplete Dialogue Manager and a rough draft of the lines that were sent to voice actors.  While these scripts are cut down to try to clear the project on time, they still carried the main draw and surprise that the story had to offer with only the pacing suffering.
